Denver, CO -- Well it had to happen eventually, the National League West powerhouse known as the Colorado Rockies were able to beat their American League counterpart Seattle Mariners in the 2018 Professional Fantasy Baseball League World Series 289.5-208.5. “It’s definitely a relief” said a drenched Sam Jordt, the Rockies’ owner and PFBL Commissioner. “The only thing I have to worry about now is how to hand a trophy to myself!”

The loaded Rockies roster left little doubt that this would be an easy series. From the sluggers like Harper, Machado, Bryant and Spiringer to the slingers Archer, Arrieta, Lester and Scherzer. Another great year for the Seattle Mariners, who are arguably the dynasty of the AL with all three AL West Division titles, two AL pennants and a World Championship. “Nobody ever wants to lose but when it has to happen, at least it was because of a talented team and that’s who was in the other dugout for this one.” commented Mariners’ owner Mike Duncan, “Plus the collusion investigation starts next week anyway.”
