In honor of Valentines Day, I felt it was a great time to show off the perfect couples of the Professional Fantasy Baseball League? What is the perfect couple? Thank you for asking, it is when a player is on the same team for fantasy and for the MLB. It shows that the owners care about keeping their players in the same city as their MLB teams so they can have a stable life and it is sooooooo cute! I will go through the top 5 perfect couples in the league from my opinion!
Notables:
San Francisco Giants (Sean McGinn) - Brandon Crawford/Mark Melancon
San Diego Padres (Dave Handley) - Travis Janikowski

5) Chicago Cubs (Phil Kawabata) - John Lackey
- I add this cute couple to the list because I like what John brings to the table with his experience for Phil. As Phil is still learning, it is important for John to be the dominant one in this relatinship and show Phil how to win. Phil was a playoff team last year and hopes to repeat again this year, but hopes to get to the championship. John took home a world series ring last year and hopes he can bring one to the other Chicago Cubs as a leader in the clubouse. There might be better pitchers than him on this team, but John brings big balls and a consistent arm to the cubbies.
4) Pittsburgh Pirates (Kyle Kinyon) - Starling Marte
- I just love interracial couples and these two just are breaking barriers and pounding the stat book. Starling is moving the relationship to the next level this year by moving to center field and providing the same offensive power from last here hopefully! Kyle didn't have the greatest of years, but is really hoping that Starling can be a star and help Kyle reach the playoffs in this 2017 year.
3) St. Louis Cardinals (Andrew Kempner) - Carlos Martinez
- Now this couple is just adorable for the fact that Andrew is an actual Cardinals fan, is the owner of the Cardinals, and has the rights to the ace of the Cardinals staff, Carlos Martinez. Comes off as a stage 5 clinger at first, but I think the relationship with these two just seems right. Carlos is coming into the year as the big man on campus in St. Louis. Without Alex Reyes in the mix, it puts a lot of pressure on Carlos to come close to 20 wins to make the Cards a playoff contender. If Carlos doesn't live up to the expectations, it could lead to an ugly break up.
2) Boston Red Sox (Edgar Nunez) - Xander Boagerts (Don't know if I spelled it right and don't care)
- Xander was part of a blockbuster deal between Kyle Kinyon of the Pirates and Ed of the Red Sox. In my opinion, I think that new couples are sooooo cute! Xander and Ed just seem like a great fit together as Xander will be taking over the SS role for the team. As a new couple, the honeymoon phase is the best part and I think Xander will have a strong 1st half of the season to help Ed and the Red Sox off to a hot start.
1) Chicago White Sox (Kyle/Ryan Dillon) - Jose Abreu
- This is the It"couple of the 2017 season and I just love how they mesh together! White Sox took a leap by taking him in the top 10 of last years draft and it seemed to be a stretch for him to be taken that early! Jose struggled at times, but found a rhythm in the later part of the year when his family from across the country to Chicago to see him. Jose then became the player we all thought he would be. I think Jose will continue his success in 2017 and the White Sox's success will highly depend on how he does.
